CoordinaTEF acts as the coordination backbone for the 4 AI sectorial TEFs (Testing and Experimentation Facilities), co-funded under the Digital Europe Programme. Its main goal is to spot shared challenges across TEFs and facilitate joint solutions. Not only this makes each TEF more competitive but it also saves costs by avoiding duplicated efforts.
While each TEF operates in a specific sector, namely healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, and smart cities and communities, all four TEFs share a common objective: to strengthen Europe's leadership in AI and robotics.
This entails helping to roll out homegrown tech, building public trust, ensuring alignment with EU laws and values, supporting European intellectual property, and boosting Europe’s digital independence.
