TEF-Health will be represented at the European Parliament on 2 December, where Dr. Petra Ritter will speak during the lunch debate co-hosted by MEP Tilly Metz and colleagues.
The session, titled “Future of dementia research in Europe”, will bring together policymakers, researchers and key stakeholders to discuss priorities and emerging directions for dementia-related innovation. Dr. Ritter will present insights from her work across major EU-funded initiatives, including VirtualBrainCloud and eBRAIN-Health under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, as well as TEF-Health under the Digital Europe Programme. Her contribution will highlight how advanced simulation, data-driven health research and large-scale testing infrastructures can support progress in dementia research and improve pathways for innovation in Europe.
